How can I lower my cholesterol?

Dr. Asa, I am writing on behalf of my husband, he has been dealing with high cholesterol for years. He is currently on a prescription but he just does not want to take it. Please tell me what I can do to help him with this. Thanks! Shelly J. - Portland, OR
High cholesterol = eggs, red yeast rice

To help with cholesterol issues eat 2-3 organic eggs each day cooked in coconut oil or real butter. Take 500mg of red yeast rice daily. Exercise at least 4-5 days a week for 30 minutes per day.

How does eggs, oil and butter help with cholesterol. Aren't they high in cholesterol?
