Why don't you simply give me a list of Preferred Local Providers instead of asking me for my personal information?

Great question and one we get often! First, we do not share your contact information with anyone other than the Preferred Local Provider. Second, by giving us your contact information, we are able to ensure that you receive the highest level of personal service. In the rare occasion that a problem arises, we can verify which Preferred Local Provider you are working with and hold them accountable. Your information also lets us know which areas need additional Preferred Local Providers to help meet the needs of Dr. Asa’s fans.

Why only certain Preferred Local Provider categories? I would like to suggest a new Preferred Local Provider category.

Our Preferred Local Provider program began with only Natural Medicine Providers to help listeners find local health care professionals. By popular demand, we added Preferred Local Provider categories for finding other health care professionals, medical specialists, health food stores, health insurance agents, and personal trainers. As our radio affiliate list continues to grow, adding new categories will certainly come. Today, with Dr. Asa ON CALL being heard in almost all 50 states, what was once a one-person job now requires a more staff. We currently have any plans to add additional Preferred Local Provider categories as the need arises. So please send us your suggestions!

Do Preferred Local Providers pay a fee?

Yes. For Preferred Local Providers, the program is a form of local advertising. It’s a way for them to attract fans who love the Dr. Asa ON CALL Radio Show just like they do. We use the fees to fund the large staff and technology required to operate the Preferred Local Provider program.

How do you select your Preferred Local Providers?

We are always accepting applications for the Preferred Local Provider program. When there is a new opportunity in an area, we will contact the applicants and interview them to determine if they have the qualifications we seek. We look for professionals who meet the following requirements:

  • Have a desire to teach and inspire others
  • Put the person’s needs first
  • Have proper licensing – active license and in good standing
  • Agree to help people based on Dr. Asa’s Natural Medicine® principles

Each Preferred Local Provider program has additional requirements appropriate to those professions.

Natural Medicine Physician Preferred Local Provider:

  • Willing to serve every level of a health care provider
  • Must be licensed and practicing in their respective field full time for 5 years
  • Must be in good standing with their board specialty
  • Has a proven history in patient care and character in the community
  • Must have an amazing follow up staff to maintain the highest in quality of care
  • Must be willing to provide quality health information based on Dr. Asa’s Natural Medicine Principles.

Medical Specialists Preferred Local Provider:

  • Willing to serve every level of a health care provider
  • Must be licensed and practicing in their respective field full time for 5 years
  • Must be in good standing with their board specialty
  • Has a proven history in patient care and character in the community
  • Must have an amazing follow up staff to maintain the highest in quality of care
  • Must be willing to provide quality health information based on Dr. Asa’s Natural Medicine Principles.

Natural Dentist Preferred Local Provider:

  • Willing to serve every level of a health care provider
  • Must be licensed and practicing in their respective field full time for 5 years
  • Must be in good standing with their board specialty
  • Has a proven history in patient care and character in the community
  • Must have an amazing follow up staff to maintain the highest in quality of care
  • Must be willing to provide quality health information based on Dr. Asa’s Natural Medicine Principles.

Personal Trainer Preferred Local Provider:

  • Willing to serve every level of a health care provider
  • Must be licensed and practicing in their respective field full time for 5 years
  • Must be in good standing with their board specialty
  • Has a proven history in patient care and character in the community
  • Must have an amazing follow up staff to maintain the highest in quality of care
  • Must be willing to provide quality health information based on Dr. Asa’s Natural Medicine Principles.

Health Food Store Preferred Local Provider:

  • Must carry the organic foods and support Dr. Asa’s principles
  • Must be a store of high integrity and excellent customer service

Health Insurance Preferred Local Provider:

  • Independent Insurance Agent actively marketing policies from multiple carriers.
  • Actively marketing major medical PPO's, HMO's, and HSA's
  • Insurance sales must be a primary source of income (not a part-time job)
  • Must agree and teach Dr. Asa’s principles.

By having smaller, yet, multiple categories of Preferred Local Providers, we are able to know them well and develop higher levels of trust. In most cases, we only have one  for each Preferred Local Provider category in an area. There are some exceptions

I want to become an Preferred Local Provider but your staff told me there is already an  in the area. Why only one?

Many of our Preferred Local Provider relationships have not changed since the program began and we encourage this. Long term relationships are very valuable to us when it comes to taking care of our listeners. However, we do maintain a list of all past applicants in case a new opportunity opens in the area.
